Getting ready to do a full exhaust replacement on my 2015 FLHTK (Ultra Limited) and noticing I can hardly see the front cylinder flange at all.

Any tricks to this? U-Joint + U-Joint, etc.

I've done plenty of exhausts before, never was I working this blind.

It's gonna be a toss up between the Krome Werks 2-1-2 with 4 inch Rineharts, or the V&H Power Duals with Carbon Fiber tip Hi Outputs. Was gonna do the Fullsac or Fuelmoto headpipes but I can't bring myself to spend 500 for the same look as I have now.

 

I just used a universal with a long extension. Worked real well.

 

Did mine with a 1/4" ratchet and 6" extension. If I remember correctly the nut is 1/2".

 

With the shield off you can get to it without a universal with 1/4" stuff. I even retighten mine with the shield on every few thousand miles. Getting the nut back on is the fun part but you will get it. I have had mine off and on 4 times, just take your time.
