Default Another Hammock Seat review...

Just did a 2800 mile ride from Texas to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. I cannot rave about this seat enough. I never wanted one because they look like a barcolounger, but I bit the bullet and bought one used... Night and day difference. I didn't dread getting on my bike one time. Not once did my riding get cut short due to *** or back pain. I'll just have to get used to how it looks.

Does it change the seating position at all? I tired a saddleman seat and didn't like how I was sitting it felt like I was on top of the gas tank almost.

This seat raised me up a bit but its a bonus for my height more leg room and well i might have to spend 60 bucks and get me a taller Long Ride Shield. I run the stock shocks and this seat is incredible. The bumps in the road are still their but they are not body shocks. Anybody remember those cold weather expansion joints? They are still there but you don' have to worry about spine injury hitting them with the stock suspension and hammock seat . Well worth the money.

is exactly how i feel on my sg. Michigan roads suck to say the least. Im still rolling on air shocks for now. Seat works wonders.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head. I bought one used also because i didn't want to pay full retail. I love it and most important my wife loves it. She doesn't complain anymore after 100 miles. She used to be done after a few hundred miles then didn't want to ride for a while. Now shes loving life and ready to go anywhere anytime. Worth the retail price IMO. Glad i got a great deal on one that was only a few months old that a guy traded his bike for the new touring bike and the seat wouldn't fit on it.

I really like my Hammock, only thing is if it starts feeling "not the same" check the webbing under the seat at the back, It has been written about here.

Yep, the first thing I did was to put some screws in to hold the webbing. Didn't want to take a chance of it coming loose during a long trip.

That's good to know I wish it didn't lift me up I like sitting low. Anyone have any recommendations on seats that sit the rider like the factory does??
