If any of you guys pick up an iPhone X let us know if it will fit in the Limited dash compartment. It's time for me to upgrade and I'm thinking about buying one. I'm thinking it will but with a phone cover to I'm not sure.

 

Would you not get one if it didn't fit? I would.

 

A "7" has lots of extra room in my SGS, more than enough room for a "X".

 

LOL, probably but I would still like to here from someone on how it fit.

I have the iPhone X in an Otterbox Symmetry case. It’s not bulky and the phone fits. Problem is when you connect the USB cable to the phone, i can’t close the door to cubby hole. Pulled the foam piece and it still wouldn’t fit. I did not pull the phone from the case. It might fit without the case but it’s going to be damn close. Just depends on what usb connector you have for the phone. If you’re not plugging the phone in then it fits. The iPhone X is longer than a 7 or 8.

 

Harleyrib maybe your Otterbox case is the problem. I found these stats on the apple website. My iPhone 6 is the same size as the 7 and 8 and I have plenty of room left over and it wears a Speck case.

Yes the case could be the problem. I don’t stick my phone in the cubby and connect to the usb. I have a phone holder attached to my switch cover housing with power run to the phone. It makes it accessible and it stays charged. So concerns about the phone fitting isn’t an issue. Since there was a question I thought I would see if I could help.

 

I don't have my iPhone X yet but I do have the case. I just tried it in the bike. It fits fine. I think my right angle Lightning plug will just fit.

 

It’s the plus sizes that don’t fit in the media hole. The regulars ones fit fine
