Thumbs up Full Boar Slip on Mufflers

Ordered a set of Full Boar slipons from ebay seller exhaust88 on Friday. The Fedex van pulls up today with them a day earlier than estimated delivery date. Price for mufflers, 2" baffles, and shipping; less than $200. The mufflers look great and the chrome is flawless. Less than 30 minutes to install, they fit perfect. Exhaust sound is exactly what I was looking for; nice, deep rumble at idle, sharp but not pinging bark with throttle twist, and nice, melodic note at cruising RPM. So far, these mufflers are well worth the cost, and considerably less than some others I looked at. If I had to compare the sound, I would say they are closest to the Reinhart 4", but seem to be a little deeper sound.

Hi,
I'm looking at these mufflers too. Do you mind if I ask why you got 2" baffles? Does the baffle size affect performance or just the sound?
Thanks for any input.

I called the company with the same question. The answer I got was; the bigger the baffle-the more sound, but no real performance improvement if stock head pipes and cat are used. I tend to believe these easier breathing mufflers will show a slight performance boost, but this was not my reason for getting these, and if so, just a pleasant bonus.

Very happy with mine on my Road King. I also got mine with 2" baffles. Sounds a little deeper than the Vance and Hines Classics I had on my Electra glide classic.

I own a 14 TriGlide, I'm not looking for a big increase in sound. Deep I like, loud, I'm almost 56 yrs old, I don't need loud.
How do you think these sound in comparison besides deep?

I wouldn't call them loud. They sound like what I think a Harley should.

Default These are them right?

So the ebay listing is for 95 -12 touring, but they fit up to the 2014's correct? Is this the correct listing and seller?

Default Mufflers

I will be getting these also in 2".I want to keep my low end torque.I like the predrilled ends set.I can use any 31/2 end cap.Lots of choices out there but cant beat the price.
