I took the Rineharts off my 2007 Street Glide and out them on my new 2014. The seem much quieter than on the other bike. I assume this is because in 07' they didn't put cats in the header pipes..

My question is how would one go about removing the cat in the header pipes? Or am I better going with a true dual type set-up. Also, If I replace the headers, will I need a tune on stock A/C?

I know this is beating a dead horse, just looking for some insight.
