Well I bought my new chrome wheel from sport chrome. Had to wait a month for it. No problem. Wheel looks good and I sent back my NEW front wheel off my 2014 sgs for my core refund. I got a call yesterday that the returned wheel was damaged so they could ship the wheel back and keep my $375 core charge or repair the wheel for $135. Which puts the total cost to more than what I could have bought a chrome wheel from Harley. Plus if I would have bought the Harley wheel I could have kept the stock wheel. Curious on how a wheel off a new bike could be damaged. Anyway, just thought I would put this out there so if you are considering purchasing chrome wheels you know all potential costs. Just because your wheel is new it doesn't mean you'll be getting your core refund . I can't help but feel like I got handled. But the wheel is across the country so I'll just take my licks and use as a learning experience
