Don't do this.
I have a Kuryakyn pet palace we use for our Doxie. We have always put it on the luggage rack on the tourpak. This last Saturday I rode about 350 miles. My wife didn't go but I took my Doxie. So I did something different. I decided to put the pet palace on the passenger seat. It was secured very easily on the sadlebag guards and tourpak mounts. Is was very secure and didn't move. I do not have a backreast yet so it also served as a backreast. So this morning I removed it and man did I make a mistake!!!!! The ends of the Pet Palace damaged the speaker grills of both tourpak speakers to the point they will have to be replaced. I don't think the speakers are damaged because they sound OK but I won't know until I pull the grills. So if you have a Kuryakyn Pet Palace, do not put it on the passenger seat. You will not like the resulting damage. BTW the covers from Kutter HD are a little over $77.00 delivered.

Pet right?
What the hell is a pet palace? Dog seat?
I almost got one for my girl but the way she'd run me down to get in the truck made me not want that experience on the bike. 43 lbs. at twenty mph would knock me down on set feet. Imagine straddled on a heavy bike and not seeing her coming.
