OP here:
I for got to mention. I have a very early production Limited. Took Delivery 8/25/2013. I have never had a leak. I had the filler neck program done about 6 months ago.
So far, the poll results are what I expected from reading about the early issues here, the filler neck and thermostat fixes, anecdotal evidence from speaking to my riding buddies and my own personal experience.
Thanks for the info, keep it coming!

August, 2013 production date. Had three episodes with coolant leaks the first two months of ownership. Dealer went all out trying to repair the issues, even pulled parts off a new bike. Once the revised fill neck was installed near the end of last year ALL my issues with the cooling leaks went away. No problems what so ever since. Love this bike.
I can understand suing if the MoCo could not fix the op's bike or if the cooling system had a proven design flaw. From what I have experienced, nothing is further from the truth.
Harley's liquid cooled exhaust valve is a win, win. Cools the hottest part of the engine while maintaining the look, feel, sound and overall performance of the air cooled motor. Actually provides for added performance.
It's a simple system as well. Easy to access and relatively inexpensive components.
This is not a shortcut to full water cooling, this is a well designed system for those that love the riding experience unique to air cooled Harley's.
