Spoke to my service manager, he is fully aware. Ask if I would like an appointment for the 15th, said they would take care of it.

I work 8, 15 hour days, then get 4 off.

Today is my last day on.

I'm riding this weekend.

Put it in neutral when you come to a stop sign or a light. That will take care of some of the danger.

Thanks for the info. Noticed last night that mine was difficult to push out of the garage with the clutch in/motor off. Normally, rolls just like it is neutral.

Thought that maybe I was imagining things, then sitting at a light I noticed it trying to creep forward.

14 limited, 2400 miles. Guess I load her in the wagon and take her down to the stealership this weekend.

My buddy's 14 SG just had a master cylinder replaced after his failed completely at 325 miles in gravel. He about dumped it. Dealer came 90 miles to pick it up. He is pretty pissed now with this info.

We had an overnight trip planned into the mountains to view fall foliage with our wives. The dealer did offer my buddy a free rental but since all the touring bikes in their rental fleet have been recalled, they only had a soft tail slim available. Not really appropriate for a 2-up overnight trip. Cancelled the trip...

Didn't think about that. Last October they still had 13's in the rental fleet. Guess you could go rent a Victory or Indian and turn it in to the ESP

I know this is a serious problem but it has apparently been there all along, right? Anything can happen any time. I'm not going to panic and suddenly stop riding my motorcycle.

Went to my dealer today & they said parts to ship Sept 15th. Scheduled my bike for Sept 23rd. Dealer told me the Recall Campaign number is 0159.

Dropped off my '14 FLHTK about an hour ago for the 1k service. Dealer told me the recall part showed up this morning and that they'd be putting it on. Even they were surprised as they were told the parts wouldn't be there until next week.

Did they say what the part is or what they have to do for the fix?
