Default Need new bars and some suggestions

Need a new set of bars on account of changing my seat height. I Like the position of the stock bars but want to raise my hands up some and make sure they stay below the top of fairing.

Kind of confusing, because since I'm trying to raise my hands up, I assumed I should be concerned with the rise measurement. Dealer says the rise on the stock bar is 10.5", but companies seem to be selling 10" bars they say are taller than stock.

Any suggestions?

Just went through a couple of weeks researching this. Went through many threads on this forum, talked to other riders, looked at many websites, emailed questions to several manufacturers. There are a multitude of options out there. I ultimately selected the 10" Paul Yaffe monkey bars which will keep my hands just below the top of the fairing (they are on their way). I'm 5'10" and expect this will provide a very comfortable ride for me. "Wild 1" has a number of options as well that you might want to check out. I'm comfortable with my decision and am certain it was the right choice for my ride. You will likely get lots of good feedback on the forum. I know I did. Good luck with your research.

I just installed 10" Wild 1's bagger bars W0578. I'm 6' with long arms; I have the bars push forward as much as I could and my hands are at the top of the fairing with a small part if my knuckles in the wind. They do have a good amount of pullback if needed. Go to their website and reach out to them; John is good to go he helped me out and answered all my questions before I purchased. There are so many options out there. I hope this helps some.

Thanks, that was kind of the impression I got from looking at the pictures. I'm about the same height, with really long arms, but I'm just short on torso. I want to keep my whole hand below the fairing.

going through similar here- shoot an email to khrome werks- they gave me some reasonable advice- and the tag is under $80 at amazon

my swap to a cop seat ( for my back) has me up higher- I am looking more at a "Reach" style bar- or KW +2 or 2+2- # 300076, 300077

These will allow stock wiring, brake lines .....and probably clutch cable- if not, the +4 cable is about $30 at H-D

Hey Bigrobtemp looking at Wild 1 bars also from a tech standpoint how difficult is trimming the left side of the bars and would the CVO TGS really be necessary?
Thnx

I put 10" Yaffe monkey bars on my bike and my hands sit about even with the top of the fairing. They are very comfortable bars. Hand/wrists aren't at some crazy angle when riding.

Didn't need to extend anything but l did use Namz extensions so l could leave everything in it's place.

Just want to be sure I'm looking at the right thing. The Black bars are the Wild 1 chubby's and not the chrome bars in the first picture, right? Asking because the black bars clearly aren't stock, but they kind of look like hand position is over the fairing.
