Nope, tried that, won't work. They end up hitting the fuel tank when turning. I've got another thread going trying to find out where guys are getting inverted mirrors to fit a Breakout

Just checking how long it took you guys to get the Ricor intiminators? I ordered mine May 9th and they just shipped today(May 27th).

That seems like longer than normal to me. I had mine in hand within about a week and I live in Canada, I'm sure there must have been a good reason for the delay. Ricor are a good outfit.

It wouldn't surprise me if there's been a bit of a run on the 39mm units. Owing to some very positive commentary on the "Everything Breakout" thread I'd bet a lot of BO owners are buying em. "Every" BO owner should be buying em.

Blew a fork seal tonight and it ended up all over the bike. Not sure what caused it. Looks like I'll be doing the RaceTech upgrade while I'm in there.

Remember, if you go the "Richor" route you won't need to drill your damper tubes. Just change to 5 wt fork oil. This is easier and reversible if you don't like the result. Reversible is an illusory benefit, however, because there's no effing way you won't like the result.

Did mine a week ago and so far very impressed with the mod, no more spongy front end. If anyone is thinking about doing this mod it is very simple if you have the proper tools and one of your kids to hold the forks. I had problems finding a 35mm socket so I used I believe a 1 3/8 which is more common. Thanks again OP.

An extra set of hands is always handy. Alternatively, if you have a couple of concrete blocks kicking around, stack one atop the other, line one of the lined up holes well with a couple of old towels or something similar to prevent scratching and voila, you have created the perfect Redneck fork holder (patent pending), and it won't need to go for a pee half way through the job.
