Certainly not looking for zombie type loud, P the neighbours off every morning kind of thing - was the Bootlegger more friendly and not likely to tire your own ears after half an hours cruise?
What kind of baffle is in these, I can't find any pics or info saying if it's a through baffle or if it's wrapped etc?

certainly looks good, cheers

It is a nice deep sound with no Rasp to it. Music to my ears compared to my old Zombie Baffled Slipons. It is loud under heavy load but perfect under normal driving.

@Gordon61 I understand not everyone wants zombie loud, but if you do like the look and price of our slip-ons we also have them in 2.25" louvered baffle and 1.75" louvered to offer a more subtle idle with a good bark under load. No problem if you prefer something else, but wanted to make sure everyone on here knew that there are other baffle options on these, even though zombie is definitely the most popular.

Have you done any performance testing of the various baffles? I find the 1.75 baffle is plenty loud for me, and offers the slight restriction the M8 seems to like to help the low end torque.

I am between these and the 2-1 . How do you like the turnouts. They look badass. One question , do they use the huge stock exhaust mout bracket ?

I had them installed by the dealer, so I’m not sure about the mounting bracket. What I can tell you for sure is, I spent considerable time travelling to the local HD dealership, auditioning newly installed exhausts. On my last trip the mechanic was rolling out a FatBoy 114 fitted with these, and when he fired it up, I knew in an instant this was the sound I was looking for!

Bootleggers arrived, and got fitted today. Loud when you want it to be, and quiet when you want it to be.
