Is it just a simple matter of pulling out the plug that's in the solo seat location and replacing it with a threaded insert?

The bike is getting delivered to my house in about an hour. I put in the seat retainer insert to try to fit a solo seat to this bike. None of the solo seats at the dealership would fit. Bummer. I love the color and the black exhaust.

This photo just made me order the black shield set from Surdyke! $296 delivered.

Already installed a M8 heavy breather with a Twin Cam version filter (I don’t like the new style mini-filter) and a set of slip ons and a SEPST Stage 1 tune.

I also have coming:
Cruise control kit
12” Wild1 chrome Psycho drag bars
HD (GoodenTite) poly bushings
Front TS relo kit
GreatBikeGear rear TS relo/lay down plate bracket
Memphis Shades Cafe fairing
HD loud horn

And the best part, Stage 3 kit going in on Tuesday.

Hard to tell from that photo, but the stock cables and lines should fit no problem. I don’t think the wheel will turn far enough to have any bars hit the tank...

Yeah, I know my dealer pretty well (even better after this last debacle) and told him I wanted to ride a specific parkway, which was a couple of miles away from the dealer. He gave me the thumbs up and after a healthy 8 mile ride I sealed the deal. Here she is as of earlier today. The photo is missing my black flush mount fuel and dummy caps, and the reflector removal.

12” Wild1 bars, Memphis Shades Cafe (haven’t painted to match yet), M8 heavy breather, with a Twin Cam filter. Dyna turn signal relo kit, Custom dynamics LED tail and sigs, and Cruise. Tallboy seat is on order. Goes in for Stage 3 on Tuesday. Very excited for that, though this thing is pretty damn fast at 107...

Edit: oh, I misunderstood. I thought you said did I ride it before I bought it. But yes, I rode it for 100 whole miles before doing the stage I. Changed the bars at 150.

By the way, how do you like those Rineharts? I had a set I tried on my Fat Boy, but they were too loud for me.

Mchad, I have to hand it to you for making a change when you're not happy. Some of us lack your assertiveness. I always seem to like your bikes. This one doesn't disappoint.
