Mike, That makes good sense. Heat with a heat gun from inside the cam chest ! The bolts twisted off like paper clips!! I was using a 1/4 ratchet that I can only get my thumb and 2 fingers on. Could not believe to see the head of the bolt sitting in the socket!

I followed the (your) problem and am prepared to remove the bolts when the time comes. I'd be on a ledge somewhere if that happened to me.

What a time I had with it! You must remember when I was posting about it. Nice scoot by the way. Congrats!!!

I have a cam bearing instal tool with puller that I might be willing to part with if you are interested

Thanks for the photos, and if by chance you still have the tool when time comes. I might have to get that from you.
Fuelmoto's pull, and install tools are a 100$ each.

This looks awesome. If the stock Low Rider S wheels were this color I probably wouldn't have changed mine. :icon_beerchug:

Thanks, man. I went into the powder shop with full intentions of going with a bright gold, but this copper/bronze mix really stood out. I'm happy with the end result and I'm doubly happy to have ditched the spoked wheels.

kuryakyn ISO longhorn shift peg. For some reason (not sure if it’s just H-D in general) I was having issues shifting into neutral at long stoplights with the stock peg on - I couldn’t get it to do the half click up from first and it would skip N all together and go right into 2nd. I’d play this dumb game where I’d keep trying and after about 10 tries I’d finally get it. I briefly tested this new one and it’s much easier to get to neutral now. About 1/2” longer than the stock shift peg.

Not too far from here. May have to plan a ride sometime.

I got two of these, one for my softail and one for my sportster, after I messed up my ankle with a chainsaw. Made it easy to ride with no pain, and now makes it easier to shift into neutral, like you say.
