Just looked it up. I think you are correct. Nice looking part, but I've had my eye on a SDC fork brace. Those covers won't work with the brace. I'll stick to my function over form plan for now.

Actually I got them from eBay - Black Full Fork Cover Kit
...for a hell of a lot less than the KC ones and they fit perfectly
