What's the difference b/w the Big Sucker stage 1 and 2 breater kits. I can't find one for an '09 Dyna, will the kit for an '07 fit?

The difference between the two is the air cleaner is a little larger with the Stage II. The 08 should fit the same as with the 09. Many retailers/web sites etc. are very slow to up date the fitment guides. Also, if I recall, with the Stage II, I believe you may not be able to use your stock AC cover, I may be wrong.

 

Stage II is for if you've had motor work done...if it's just a stock motor go with Stage I...and if it fits '06-'08, it'll fit your '09.

 

i have an 08 superglide custom and on arlen ness website i think the one you need is an18-818 big sucker stage one with cover because your stock cover will not work. Oh ya i emailed arlen ness website on wednesday i guess they dont want my bussiness thank you henry

 

The stage 1 will accept the factory oval or round air cleaner covers.


The stage 2 is 20% larger and will accept either an 8" round Ness or 8" round factory cover.
