While riding, the rears went out. Got home to realize that the PBR300x2 was out as well. Dont know which came first but I do know that it stinks (6x9) and needs replacement. I think the amps as well. When I hooked them up to see what the prob was, the other one blew too. (amp)
6x9 rears, and a nice 4channel amp to run the front focals, and rear replacements.

Might be able to help you out, have some Kappa 6x9s I'd let go for a good price and can pair with a budget 4-channel if you need?

As far as the Pioneer 6x9s go I was fairly impressed with the 5-way I picked up from Sonic Electronics. I have some videos on here with them.

Ran these as well. Good bass, but the 5-ways sounded a lot better to me.

Pioneer TS6902's are good replacements. They'll definitely have more bass than the ones you had before. Another good replacement I've been having good feedback with are the DS18 6x9(link posted below). As far as a good budget amp......

I have a set sitting at the house and these things get LOUD. not a ton of bass like the Pioneers, but much louder and much better SQ for under a 100 bucks. I live 20 min from DS18 HQ's and wasn't impressed with those 6X9's at all, and I've had a chance to demo everything in their showroom.
