Do you know the damage you could do with a RG fairing that was about 2" larger and holds 4 or 6 6.5's with horns? Now we may have to limit the speakers to the Mmats for safety because if you allow anything in there that fairing may explode from speakers with too much power when you install Alpine R's.

All we need is someone who can splice in some abs, "weld" up the seams and then send to paint.

Sorry BAL for the hijack.

Its a great review
Maybe we find something else that has not been done?

Those little RF Amps are small and stout @200 watts (Rockford Fosgate Power TM400X2ad)

Agree it is a great review. But, that amp is discontinued and replaced by MX 280/4. I would be curious to see a test of the MX to see how it compares to the MHX. However, if they are too similar, I would say add something completely different.

Damn near identical with maybe slightly cleaner sound from the MX. Would not waste the time texting it.

We're SD dealers and have been using these types of amps for quite some time. I have a box of these at the shop. They're good, very good....but nothing earth shattering. We ran them at Daytona. The downside is you need a DSP since they don't have adjustable filters. Based on the "ear" test, I'd say they do rated power. They have an 800.4 coming out soon that should fit easily in the fairing. The 1200.4 requires you cut/modify the rushmore amp tray and doesn't fit in a RG. If the 800.4 is out in time we'll get it tested.
