So far Wisconsin and Illinois (maybe even Michigan) are sounding like central locations. I'm not real familiar with the areas as far as rides go, but I'm sure we can figure out a scenic ride route where ever we may end up.

I'm open to a couple August weekends, 5th and 12th. Only concern would be the heat.
Still open to ideas.

Hilarious!!! I'm in for whenever too. Hell, I'm kinda centrally located. Everyone is welcome here and at the cabin that's just down the road too. Sorry Andy. This is kinda far for you hey...

So do we have to wear survival suits when riding up there in Sept? I thought the 4th of July weekend was your summer so I just want to plan accordingly!!

Lol.

Hell, give me 60s and sun all day.

Just trying to keep this alive. Didn't get any response for these locations in the great lakes section.

Theodore Roosevelt once called Grand View Drive "The most beautiful drive in the world"...must have been high on pain killers..its a nice short ride up the bluff in Peoria (1 mile) , The Great River Rd. from Prairie du chien is a much better choice for an actual "ride"! The ride from I-80 down South along Rte 26 to Peoria is one of the better rides in central Il. I might ride that tomorrow from Joliet thru Starved Rock down to Peoria to the Burger Barge, hole in the wall bar with good burgers! Praire du chien might be a good place to meet or Lacrosse maybe?
