What's up Brother! I could not agree more. These speakers are WAAAY overrated in my opinion in sound, quality and their ability to handle the suggested wattage. Every set I've seen installed pushing what the forums have suggested (180W +) have blown and quickly. A CW Vega B2 will toast these for certain. Happened to one of my Club Brothers twice. best bet, is to stay with in the specs of the speaker or as Tailwind so eloquently put it, go another route with speakers that can handle the power you need. Maybe early on, they were built better, but something has changed with their power handling and that goes for their 6X9s as well.
