Mike if you keep your system stock, meaning stock HU, stock speakers in the fairing, adding lowers with speakers, and not replacing the fairing speakers AND adding an amp....the only thing you will have accomplished is now you have spent money on lowers and speakers that have added absolutely nothing to your audio experience. You will never know they're there except that you can visually see them. Complete waste of cash without adding an amp.

Ok I understand what would be recommended in speakers and amp that won't break the bank? I don't have a problem with the stock set up would just like it better if there is an improvement by just replacing speakers then I'll do that I'm not an audio guy I'm a wrench so what ever you guys recommend is good enough for me I have learned after a upper end rebuild and a transmission and drivetrain rebuild that h/d sometimes doesn't use top quality stuff

Big Mike, what ur top end budget for 4 speakers and an amp? Plenty of great bang for the buck options but some budget guidance will help these boys get u the best guidance possible.

U will be extremely glad ur going this direction brother!!! The difference in audio will be eye watering.

$500 is a good number brother. We just have to shop for the right deals and it will work.

Just replacing the Speaks will be a waste so let's stay focused on that $500 number and the gang here will get your ship to shore.

What's u music preference? Hard rock, classic rock, rap, hip hop?
