They sell them with what Mike says is a 48Hz filter. I requested that they leave it out when they build it as I am running it through a DSP anyway. I don't have any plans to use a sub anytime soon, but you never know. lol

For all you audio heads always wanting to try the latest and greatest.
Biketronics has released the new 4250 but she is a salty one if you are going to purchase it.

The price tag on it is $899.95

When I talked to BT I was told the new 4250 amp was 8 ohms. Better double check for using correct speakers.

This is right from BIKETRONICS

The amp is 4 ohm not 8 ohm

For the curious, here ya go...Biketronics have been designing and manufacturing audio amps specifically for the Harley Davidson motorcycle since 2004 starting with the venerable BT444.

The loud, clear sound of Biketronics amps is renowned by riders everywhere and it gets even better with the introduction our new ProPower amplifiers - starting with the BT4250. We know of no other amp with this kind of power density, headroom, and performance. Think of this amp as a BT4180 on steroids with 250 watts per channel into four ohms. We also added gain control on each channel *and* maintained the same size enclosure!

From the beginning we realized the need for special power supply design given the limited charging system on the bike. Our unique StatorGuard power supply control keeps the bike's charging system in the "safe zone" while pumping out unsurpassed power - for years a Biketronics Exclusive.

Hallmarks of all Biketronics discrete UcD amplifier designs (world patented):
- Flat, fully load-independent frequency response
- Low output impedance
- Very low, frequency-independent THD
- Very low noise
- Fully passive loop control
- Consistent top performer in listening trials

These features translate into headache free (figuratively and literally) operation at high sound levels for hours of continuous riding.

For years Biketronics have been a mainstay mobile amp on the Harley - with millions of product miles on the bike no other can claim. Made in USA (keeping Americans working) and our Lifetime Warranty provide additional unmatched value.

Biketronics believe in keeping our work (and our dollars) stateside and appreciate your support. For more information on all the great Biketronics products for your Harley please see biketronics.com or give us a call 800.735.2419

I think its 4 0hm can probably use an 8 ohm speaker but its got to be 4 ohm & 2 0hm stable same as 2250 but 4 channel... 8 ohm would make no sense!

Does that price include 2 BT355s, RCAs, Bracket, etc like their other amps on their Website? That would make the price more like $650 for just the amp after the Forum discount.
