Stumped on amp not powering up

A little back story. A couple of weeks ago I seemed to have a bad channel. In the troubleshooting process I swapped from a Power Acoustik RZ 4-3000D which I'd been running for a good while to a Soundstream PN 4-1000D. The PA is a clone of the SS. My problem turned out to be the Sony head unit, but since the SS was already in place I just left it in. Mind you that the PA was functional, but I put it up on the shelf. New Sony went into place and all was well until yesterday. Riding down the road listening to a radio stream from my phone when I hear a loud pop and everything goes dead. The amp is wired directly to the battery. I pulled the seat and checked the fuse, it's good. I pulled the fairing, turned on the ignition, no power light on at the amp. Put a voltmeter on it, 12.75 applied to the amp. I figure the amp went bad, although it only had maybe 6-10 hours on it. I got the PA off the shelf and connected the power leads and remote turn on back up but it won't power up. This is a known good amp, working when removed. So now even though I've got voltage to the amp, neither one will turn on. What am I overlooking?

How is your ground wire? How is the remote wire? Do they check out?

Hold up, here's the rest of the system. I used a Biketronics retro install kit, which includes their hand control module. Factory harness into the module, BT harness into the radio. Better check the factory radio power fuse.

Oddly enough, it was the radio memory fuse that had popped. All good now. Memory fuse killed the radio, which killed the remote turn on, preventing the amp from powering up. Who'd of thought?
