What headunit do you have? What volume number did you set your gains at?

Aquatic AV AQ-MP-5UBT-HS connected via RCA

The red clip light comes on at 17 on the volume with the 1000khz 0db test tone, the speakers disconected from the amp and the Aquatics equalizer set to flat.

I dont understand how you set your system up. Can you explain the process of setting your gains and volume level to me please?

This procedure is only doable on Fosgate Amps with the C.L.E.A.N. gain setting feature. Is that the amp you are trying to set up.
