2019 SGS Audio Upgrade
I am looking to upgrade my stock speakers and add an amp to my 19 SGS. I have had the BT2180 and Titan speakers in the fairing/lowers on a previous SGS and it sounded pretty good. I am looking at the BT4180 with titans now but the $1,000+ package seems to be a little steep. Recommendations on a decent system? I don't have lowers yet but will in the future so just looking for a recommendation on a nice set up that I can add lowers/speakers down the road.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Nothing wrong with the BT stuff, Pricey yes, but also a great warranty. If you were happy with it before it is still a good option.
As far as less expensive there are plenty of options. What is your ideal budget? What Genre of music do you listen to? What is your riding style ie touring, backroads, bar hop?

Starting off on the 2014+ bikes, biketronics has a line leveler to help with the Harley drastic eq curve. I am assuming the 19 new GTS radio has same EQ built into it, Line levelers are about 80 each, for ease of installation they offer a breakout harness too. that helps you keep everything under the fairing.
Speaker wise there are so many choices, your Genre of music you may want to stick with Co-ax speakers as most of them give a warmer sound and are easy install no real tuning required. Look at some of the Hertz line.
@Tailwind does like the Rockville component speaker they are budget friendly and from what I heard sound really nice for the price.
Amps, most of the coax that we use on a bike want upwards of 150 watts per speaker to really sound good and defeat the engine and wind noise. I have heard good things about the stinger amp.
Others will chime in and help you out some more.
