Looking at an amp change from A Soundstream pn1000. Was considering a stinger spx but I can get the

NVX VAD10004 for less than the stinger. Just looking for some feedback from those that know.

 

In what location do you plan on mounting a 12'' amplifier?

 

I have an amp tray and really was more concerned with its 2” height than its 12” length. Perhaps I’m wrong and will check when I have the lid off. Regardless the more I read the more the stinger is a better choice for my needs.

 

That brand of amps tend to run hot.

What are you trying to power?

 

Ive installed a few VADM2's and thought they worked great. That was just a 2 channel system, but I would recommend again. Not JL Audio SQ, but a great bang for the buck

 

Yes I heard that too. At present I just have 2 hertz hcx165s and 2 infinity kappa62ii will be replacing the infinity’s with a pair of either mmats or hertz neos.
