Hey guys i own an 02 electra carb model. When i hold the throttle wide open(up hill on interstate) the bike will stutter and hack until i let off the throttle and in a few seconds she runs fine again. I have changed low speed from 45-48 and the main jet from 1.90-2.0 thinking it was not getting enough fuel and she still does it. Is maybe the inlet screen from the petcock dirty and only allowing enough fuel to run through under normal throttle. Any sugestions from the pro's would be awsome

Is it a CV? it could be starving or I had a similar problem with the spring on the slide being to weak. Making the slide flutter causing that sensation instead of working smoothly. Check you spark plugs too

Yes it is a cv carb. I had not though about the spring. How did you remedy this problem? New spring? Thanks again
