Pull label of air cleaner, left glue
I pulled the warning label off the air clean and a lot of glue was left behind. What is the best/easiest way to remove the glue with out marring the chrome?
Thanks

Try some WD-40 on a rag, that should take it off

When I picked mine up from the dealer there were a number of sticky label residue marks in various places. I pointed them out and made sure the dealer cleaned them off before I paid up.

Took a fair amount of WD-40 and a bit of elbow grease, but worked real well.
THANKS!!

Got mine cleaned off in about 30 seconds with a little shot of Ronsonol (ya know.. lighter fluid). No obvious traces or negative affects.

I used rubbing alcohol (90% isopropyl, from walmart) and a soft cloth and the adhesive came off without attacking the plastic.
