I've been using it for the past few years on both of our vehicle's , seems to hold up really well during the summers months , but during the winter , when the salt on the road gets put down , I find that you have to apply another coat after you wash .

The salt will stain / fade the plastics , but not nearly as bad as it was before you applied it the first time .

A little goes a long way , one bottle usually lasts me a couple of years .

Last years.

is the trim faded and trashed? If so, need to approach a different way

A word of warning ... Sounds like Dlux is the winner, however be sure that in the event you are going to do paint work be sure to extra diligent with your prep work ... Thoroughly clean with soap and water and then with wax and grease remover BEFORE any prep work is started ... SIlica / silicone can and will wreak havoc with new paint application

Used a propane torch on the daughter's old Honda Element plastic and it actually has lasted now for over a year! (saw on YouTube short video).
Would I get it near my HD, HELL NO! 🤣
But I do have the old inner fairing (turning white) from my 08 Ultra. May do a test..... 🤔

I recently tried Meguiars ultra compound - so far so good - on some troubling sticky spots. Don’t know where that gunk is or where it came from. Stumped the HD dealer ad two different detailers. This ultra compound is a cutting compound, so use sparingly.

Stuff I’ve tried is called Meguiars ULTIMATE (not ultra).

Small polishing pads that can be attached to your drill are good and easy way to get cleaning product to nooks and crannies. Many types available.

I'm curious if this is the right kind of product to use on faded switch gear - the had controls for turn indicator switches, lights, etc. Mind are a bit faded and I was wondering what would be best for bringing them back.
