Thumbs up Bug Remover

Don't know if anyone has ever heard of this. I just rode out to Sturgis and a buddy of mine lives close. When I arrived 1,615 miles my scoot was covered with bug guts. My buddy brought out this bottle and sprayed it on my Windshield, Headlight, fork, mirrors etc. The bugs guts began to foam up and after a 1 minute wait he wiped it CLEAN. If was absolutley amazing. His secret.........50% water 50% hydrogen peroxide!!!! He put it in a dark color spray bottle (peroxide can't be exposed to the light) Spray on, the guts begin to foam up, and wipe away. He said it is a trick that his buddy told him about. Doesn't hurt that paint or chrome and cost less than $1.00.

Lots of people swear by it. For me, the warm, wet towel is the best.

I have used in Florida on the lovebugs for a couple of years now. Works great and does not hurt chrome or paint.

Badfinger told me about that trick on a PGR mission.

Found this method searching,
Anyone use this regularly and are there any effects on the paint?
Seems to me I read where peroxide would dull the paint.

I heard the same thing about the dulling of the paint. I use Honda Polish. Soak a rag, place it on the area, let sit a little bit, and they come right off.

For bugs, I used Wizards Bug Release. Spray on, let set for a few seconds, and wipe bugs off. No harm to paint, chrome, and it won't remove wax.

Hot, wet towel for 5 minutes is my preferred method especially in a motel parking lot while on the road but I might give the peroxide mix a try. Thanks for sharing.
