Rear Shocks in Black
 
Tried to hi-jack a lowering thread to get some info about this. Looking to copy some ofyou guys and get the progressive 412's in black. all i see on their website are full covers in black. are these shocks out there? if so where? if not, hoe'd you do it? powder coating?

# 4124036B (stock lenght, if you want to lower 1" like some have done, thats a different part #)

I ordered my 11"Progressive 412'sfrom Phat Prefromance also. $198 shipped but took about a month to get them in black.

I was going to comment that I had looked into the black shocks but was told that they were on unspecified time backorder. Apparently the SERT is too man I can't get nothing I want lately lol

for 07 bob part number for 11" is 412-4045B. just ordered from phat for 198 and change shipped.

I've been thinking about pulling mine and powdercoating everything and also doing my fender struts at the same time. At first, I was worried about the springs not holding the powdercoat due to all the flexing, but I've seen several companies that offer replacement springs that are powdercoated. that's good enough for me to try.
