Store them in a 5 gallon bucket of oil. I know how you hate rust!

I have a hell box too. It has saved me in a pinch a time or two. It's hard to sift through when it is deep. I usually just dump it out on the workbench(at 4AM, lol).

Ditched my FP3 tuner for Power Vision from Fuel Moto. Absolutely could not get my LRS with the RR3 to run right. Ran multiple maps, numerous autotunes, and also contacted customer support and got their “Bassani” tune and all ran so rich I was getting full blown backfires and garbage fuel range, not to mention throwing codes for running too rich. Flashed the tune Fuel Moto loaded onto the PV and holysh*t what a difference! Powerband is smooth, no backfires (and practically no decel pop), and no codes. Should have went with PV to begin with.

Well pulled mine apart and started sanding down. Needed to respray the tank from last paint job due to error. Figured if I'm going to the trouble of sanding then spraying a tri coat again and try to match it up, decided I would just change colors again. My wife probably thinks I'm crazy but cheaper than buying a new bike.

Might want to sort that hardware. A Kerr jar with nuts, a jar with bolts, a jar with washers, etc.

Today I bought a set of pilot point Dewault Titanium Drill Bits from Home Depot so the holes for the wire clips can be drilled in the handlebars. Nice set of drill bits. I love tools!

Edit: new front brake line arrived today, yahoo! Mirrors arrived but one has a couple slight imperfections. I am tempted just to keep it, but nahhhh - I'm sending them back.

Rode to work n back today on the Dyna. Hot and crowded, but a nice ride anyway. Heading out to Galveston for the holiday weekend. Decided on the FJR instead of the Dyna. Last time I took the Dyna there, got salt corrosion on all the chrome and aluminum parts. Clean up was no fun. Don't see how riders who live on coastal areas keep their bikes looking good, w/o a bunch of work or some special coating... FJR1300's have no chrome to worry about corrosion.

A great and safe Holiday time to all here. tomp dd50
