I turned trouble into a benefit. I was riding the other day when the windshield on my Reckless Fairing cracked. I pulled it apart to try & find a windshield locally. While it was apart I decided to finally paint the outer shell to match.

Here it is, I had to reinstall the cracked windshield. I need to call Reckless next week & get one ordered.

Stared at it for the past two weeks. Been raining everyday for the past two weeks. Got exhaust parts in to make my own exhaust, but putting that off for the winter.

Sucks! Makes for spending too much money on the web.

I see all these posts about not riding cause it's raining... Why? I do it fairly often and I get stuck in monsoons. Enjoy the bike.

I only ride in the rain, when I get caught in it. Soaked through and through isn't all that much fun, and really hard on the boots. Not a wus, just been there and done that. Wasn't all that fulfilling. Got to ride some yesterday. Was actually a little bit cool for part of the ride. Come on Fall, and get here. tp

I keep my rain gear packed in a small sissy bar bag so I always have it with me. On that note I don't intentionally ride in the rain either but stay prepared for it just the same.

The only thing I have done to my bike lately was a 5k service and installed a HD locking clamp on my windscreen. I also ordered a Bell RS-1 full face helmet. I have been riding all year with a Bell Pitt Boss. While I love the Pit Boss it does not offer the protection of a full face. I have to cover my face and eyes with the Pit Boss with all the bugs up here so I may as well use a full face and do it with comfort and have something that is nice and quiet as well.

Installed a new front brake line yesterday, removed the passenger peg assemblies, (don't use'em), and took it out for an early ride this morning, enjoyed the fresh air.
