Had at problem, and couldn't find a way to correct it. Since the bulk of my riding is at Texas highway speeds, it went away. Really wanted that bike for a good while, but was disappointed with the vibes.

And yes I know Harleys vibrate, but none I've owned, quite like the '12 SB. Good luck with yours... tp dd50

Well I'm gonna check the bolt before I take off , then report back; 1/2 the trip will be not registered wish me luck.

I bought my bike a couple weeks ago after sitting for 2 years. 2008 FXDB. The previous owner thought there was water in the fuel tank. Turns out there was a ton of sugar in the tank. I completely disassembled the fuel components, cleaned them out, installed a new fuel filter and the bike started right up and sounded fine. Took it for a spin and could barely get over 60mph and engine was sputtering like a minigun. It stalled a couple times and had to give it full throttle to take off. I turned around and went home, pulled the injectors and cleaned them up really good and popped some new plugs in it. Now it runs like a dream!

congrats on the bike, great that you diagnosed the problem as well....as for how it got that way, previous owner must a been a tool to deserve the sugar bomb.

runs great, bolt is locked in place very little vibration going on.........naming her bullitt.

it was my mother in-law's. Apparently an ex boyfriend of hers was pissed because she wouldn't let him have it.
