What did you do to your Dyna today?
Decided that having to scrape my windshield over the next 3-5 weeks was worth riding a couple of times a week so moved the bike from the shop to the garage. Front spoke rim is still leaking some air though. Thinking it's either a new rim or get the tire off and inspect the seal tape for areas I could try to seal with some tube patches. Currently having to put air in it every day.
I purchased my 2010 FXDWG in October of last year. It's nice, but since I prefer stock or close to stock bikes with quiet mufflers and low bars, there were some changes that needed to be made. It came with some 10-12" Carlini 1-1/4 ape bars and risers that will be echanged for some lower bars, perhaps Fat Boy style. It also was fitted with dark Vance & Hines Short Shots Staggered exhaust. Those are beautifully made and look great. The only problem there is that they are very loud. They sound like an aircraft at takeoff. Both the bars and exhaust wil eventually go on eBay and someone is going to get a smoking deal!
The previous owner also installed some 13" Drag Specialties rear shocks which will stay. There is also a V&H "DRAK" air cleaner which, although no longer made is very nice and works quite well so it will stay. It also has a Harley full seat.
I have custom floor boards that were kept from my previous FXDB. These require the mid mounts to hold the rear of the floorboards. Unfortunately, fhe original style FXDWG exhaust won't work the mid mounts so I opted for a mint set of FXDB pipes that I located on eBay. They sweep back farther than the WG exhaust and will fit with my floorboards so they will go on.
I started doing this work in November until the weather got down to upper 30's, lower 40's F. Since I have an unheated barn to work in, work will stop until March or April when the weather warms. As a geezer, I can't take the cold. The bike is on a Battery Tender Jr. until some warm weather.
Those of you who have changed handlebars on Harleys with the wires inside of the bars will recall that it's not easy. I have to slide the connectors out from the frame and remove the pins in order to move the wires.
So that's what I've been thinking about doing lately while I collect parts. Thanks for reading.

Latest on my '03 WG was to swap out the Freedom Performance Big Curve chrome exhaust with Vance and Hines Big Radius in black and chrome tips.

Well I have had a 30 tooth front sprocket, a new smaller belt by one tooth, and a chrome inner primary sitting on a shelve since August.
I finally decided to tear it down this weekend and get it done. It was quite a bit of work, but it can be accomplished by most guys if you have the correct tools. I did not have any problems and it went back together pretty easily. I found I have the wrong primary drain plug but I am working that out now. Hopefully I can feel the difference in the sprocket!
