Maybe I'm missing something. If you run boards adjust the lever low enough to slip your boot under for easy up shifts. With the heel toe setup don't you still have to lift your foot up to down shift using the front lever?
Doesn't seem like it adds much to me. Less room to move your foot around too.

My first two bikes didn't have the heel to toe shifter, and I always wanted one. When I bought my fatboy, it had one. Within 2-3 weeks I took it off, couldn't stand it. I couldn't move my left foot any because it was "lodged" between the two shifter pegs, and I found it more difficult to downshift with my heel than toes.
Oldenuf - You can buy aftermarket model shifters and floorboards for dynas and any other bike.
Some of my friends swear by them, and would never take them off, so maybe it's just me. Also drove from 1986-2013 without one, so I guess I'm used to not having a heel peg on the shifter.
