Love this fairing. Very little buffeting at 100+mph today.

Racqueteer,

Do you intend to leave the headlight sticking out like that or are you waiting for a shorter mounting block?

Trying to decide what to do about it. Would like to switch to 7" light but don't want to spent a fortune. May need to fabricate a different block.

Same bike with night rod fairing

Where did you get the night rod fairing? I'm assuming it's an aftermarket kit?

Shipping might kill the deal to the US, but I am in the UK and it was dead cheap compared to shipping something here from the US. All in all, I highly recommend it as fairing choices are limited for the dual headlights on the Fat Bob.

This looks great!
Maybe I contact Phil and ask price for that.

H-D 1/4 with Kuryakan clamps for 49mm tubes. As for the brackets that comes with the fairing , I decided to machine some stepped washers from solid aluminum bar stock for the backside of the bracket that fit into the keyhole type slots and bought some machined some flat washers for the front from a machinist on ebay made to my specs. I wanted aluminum so they can be anodized later if I choose. I ordered some spacers from McMaster Carr and machined them to fit between the fork brackets and the brackets that are mounted to the fairing itself. Anyway here are a few pics and again, sorry for my terrible camera skills.

Found a 2002 Softtail Headlight on eBay that fits much better.

Willie & Max Mini Sissy Bar bag fits well behind fairing.

Do so! He's a good guy to deal with. While you are at it....he also does a belly pan that I added recently. See the pic below....

I just received my fairing yesterday. The question I have for you guys.....wiring.

I would like to tie into the ignition switch but I have never pulled the cover off on my 08 Fat Bob.

Can someone please help me with which wire to tap into so that my stereo will go off with the ignition switch?

Thanks Guys.
