I bought this 2003 dyna low rider with this exhaust on it already. I always assumed they were short shots, but when I ordered a set of baffles for Vance and Hines short shots they were def the not the right ones.

So then I thought they might be big shots but I can only find big shots that have staggered tips!


I def ordered the right baffles for short shots,I double checked that first, and they def would not fit these pipes.

 

They look exactly like the short shots on their website.

Which is exactly why I believed they were short shots.

 

Here is an image of the short shots baffle, this baffle would not fit correctly, I had to cut the wider end off so the baffle would slip into the pipes so I could insert the stock placed set screw in.

 

Here are some close up shots of other short shot originals I have found. The baffle end is clearly capping the pipes. Mine are completely different.

 

They look like my Vance & Hines Short shots.

could the pipes in the first photo be big shots? The latter appear to just make it to the back of the battery box on a Dyna

 

Manufacture website shows big shot pipes almost reach rear axle. Could be their Photoshop team is'nt that great at what they do. lol

I really cant figure this out. It is almost like there are different heat shields or something.
