By "sturdy" are you looking at mounting a fender from a Peterbuilt 18 wheeler tractor or what, how sturdy is sturdy?
Stock sliders hold this fender: https://www.denniskirk.com/russ-wern...prd/397202.sku that me and some others use.
Unless you're looking at something to stop a 30.06 blast this fender is pretty darn sturdy.
