Default LePera Daytona VS Mustang Fastback

looking for a new seat for my 2001 FXDXT
Are these two seats basically the same?

Is there anything better about one than the other?

not worried about passenger comfort but liking the locked in med back for getting on the throttle

any info would be appreciated basically just want to know if they are the same shape /style just different manufacturers

Maybe someone with the mustang Fastback can throw a pic up and someone with the LePera Daytona can throw a pic up

I don't know much about the mustang but I can speak to the Daytona... best seat I have ever owned... I run it on both my Dyna's. Cool looking and firm(I went with the gel option on both), yet comfy.

Mustang fastback

Ride 1 hour to work and 1 hour home. It's very comfy but firm at same time.

Has good back support for not having a back rest. Keeps you locked in the seat

I have a bad back and can ride this seat so that says a lot

I like the seat and think it fits the bike well. Longest I have ridden on it is about 1.5 hours so I can't report on the touring aspect

It's definitely a great seat and I got it as it looked to offer more back support than the other seat in this post. I need the support as I have a really screwed up back but don't want another seat with a backrest

You can't really compare the Fastback on a Sporty to a Dyna. The Dyna has way more back support than the Sporty one and keeps you locked in like gartec said. I've rode on both and currently have a Daytona Sport on mine and am happy with it, but getting ready to sell it to make the switch to a Fastback. The fastback is on the stiff side at first, but I rode one that had some miles on it and they break in nicely. There's nothing wrong with the Daytona, it's super comfortable and looks good too. I'm just looking for more back support
