Nope. I prefer to keep the branding to a minimum as well. Besides, the product apparently doesn't match the description.

Not at all! I prefer the smooth ones as well, much cleaner. I hate when things show up that are totally different than what was expected...

cvaria, those don't look worth a damn; you wanted smooth black axle covers, those don't belong on your bike. Send them back as 'nothing but stupid' and get some smooth black axle covers, the way you want your bike to be.

The only place you see any HD branding on my bike is on my tank and that's only because I've not found a better tank badge yet; those HD logos everywhere look so sad...

The HD #43422-09 black front axle covers and the rear # 43428-09 axle covers look the best of them all; they fit properly. Mine are chrome and I didn't like using any HD parts but they do look like they're supposed to be there

Edited because I'm too stupid to use HD's website... those are the correct part numbers... don't hate me...

The HD axle covers; front black is #43428-09, the chrome front covers is #44117-07A.

The rear axle covers; rear black is #43422-09, the chrome rear covers is #41705-09.

I've used the HD covers on several bikes with no problems, they're well made. I have used some aftermarket axle covers but they went missing rather quickly, they didn't mount quite as well as the HD's did...

Thrust bearing would replace the big flat washer on that tool. Much less torque required to turn the nut.
