To really clean up that frontend, remove the brake rotor & caliper/ lines.
Of course, your braking distances may increase significantly, but that's a small price to pay for "style."

Just walk through the parking lot looking under the fender at bikes parked there and remember a good portion of what is under the fender on those bikes will be pelting you if the fender is not there. IMHO a bar hopper you can get away with no fender, if your doing any kind of miles removal is not a good idea
