Default Alloy art LED turn signals on the fxdf

So basically im looking for any input on how to make these work with the fxdf.
on the site it says
Dyna Strut Lights will NOT work with FXDWG and FXDF models, unless strut covers are removed like the FXDB model
Is there any way to make this work this the strut covers?

Ive asked the company but sofarno reply so im wondering if anyone had this issue
Chop the end off on them?

You could cut the strut covers off where they meet the light.

If those are the lights you really want, just remove the strut covers, don't cut them. Very easy to take off.

Yes, that's what the instructions say,, Drill a small hole in the fender that will be covered by the installed light,,
That's what happens when you do a custom install,, you have to customize.
It's OK, it's your bike,, do what you need to get what you want.(?)
