Default Stock Dyna 103 to Dyna 103 stage 1 HP gain?

Hi guys,

I'll be taking my stock dyna street bob 103cu and adding a vance and hines 2-1 full exhaust, arlen ness stage 1 intake, and tuning.

I've heard stock is around 69-75 HP. Is this accurate? What kind of gain can I expect out of the above parts/tuning?

Cheers,
Matt

10~15%
Depends on how good the tune is.

... and you want to be more concerned with your torque gain... not your HP.

To be honest, i noticed no difference from stock to full stage one, but i think that mostly has to do with exhaust choice i went with which was vance and hines short shots, i think they just robbed all the torque. My buddies street bob with just a 2-1 pipe nothing else feels like it pulls better than mine

A big factor is which tuner you're using and if the guy running the dyno really knows his stuff. You can take the same bike to three different tuners and you can end up with three different set of numbers.
Horsepower is for bench racing, torque is for winning races.
