I can get a wideglide tank cheap that I can have custom painted. Will my street bob dash and speedometer fit on the 07 wideglide tank???? tnx.

 

does anyone have any info on this. are the dimensionsons of the cavity on the wide glide tank much different from the street bob? I'm not sure, but the hole is just for the purpose of pulling the wiring through, so it seems like it should not be a big difference. But does anyone here really know?

 

not sure, looks like it would be a simple bolt on. but not sure, please let us know what you find out. i was woundering the same thing on this idea. jackyl

 

Have you tried looking in the back of the MoCo parts catalog? They used to have replacement sheet metal with fancy paint jobs in there and I was thinking you could take a look and see if the tanks they show fit both the bob and the WG. Just a thought.

 

The shop manual indicates that the cavity on the wg is indeed different than on the street bob or lowrider. Try to find a lowrider tank instead.

 

thanks fellas. I talked to a parts guy today and he said something similar. the cavity is different and so is the curve of the tank.
