I may be ordering the LD bars today. What say everyone on their poly bushings? Must have?

Plenty of options, if you're ordering them with your bars it would be convenient, but poly bushings are a must for LD bars, or really any bars, in my opinion. Stock rubber bushings suck.

solid bushings for t bars be ran alloy art polys and still had slight flex in the bars solid bushings solved the problem. Rock solid and gives you confidence when pushing your bike hard

Yes, do the bushing while you have it apart. Well worth the cheap investment.

Rubber bushings seem to eliminate vibration in the bars best. Solid bushings would not. And perhaps poly bushings would be middle of the road between rubber and solid.

Have I got that right in terms of effects on vibration?

Last request... anyone have pics of the 12” bars on their bike? I’m stuck between 12 and 14 and thinking 14’s will put my hands too high. I guess I’m leaning toward the 12’s but would like to see pics.

I have solid mounts on my LR-S with 12" West Coast slingshots and my opinion is that that vibration effect is greatly overstated. I've also run solid mounts on several other dynas and FXRs. My basis for this is because when I'm at stop lights and even when I'm riding my rear view mirrors do not shake and I can see clearly out of them. The new dynas aren't like the old evo softails where the bars shook so much that mirrors were almost worthless. Just my opinion though.

Something to consider would be to buy the 12's and then if you feel they're too low then you can always get the t-bar lift in several different sizes.

Here is mine with 12's

That’s perfect! Thanks for the pic! I’m going with 12’s
