If you like it, that's all that counts. It's a custom fabricated part, that ain't cheap. You pay for quality.

 

My honest opinion... I like the bar itself, and it's the right design overall for your bike. But being that tall, it should have a radical, tall, low profile king/queen seat on it. As it sits, I would probably prefer it closer to the height of the bars.

But I don't dislike it as is. Also, even though $650 is a lot for a sissy bar, making high-quality one-off stuff is time consuming and requires skill and equipment. I'm not shocked at the price.

To be honest i had purchased the 16" gloss black Carlini apes about a year ago. But, was unsure about installing them.
After reading y'alls comments. I think i will mount them up this weekend just to get the vibe from how they sit with the sissy bar.
If they look as good as im hoping they will. Ill get the new cables and finish it out. Ill post pics once there mounted up.

It’s like the stance on a car, get the wheels and tires right and the look just clicks. Those apes and that bar look like a matched set, add a little black up front, drop the mic. IMHO, anyway.
