Default Remotely Shutting OFF Brake, Rear Signal

Before this turns into a **** storm, this is for educational purposes.

Does/has anyone tapped in a rocker switch conveniently in the cockpit that can turn the signials (rear), running, and break/plate light OFFFFFF.

This bike is a 2011 FXDC. I was thinking of molding a piece of Kydex and running an off on switch of the correct amprage or maybe a relay if the load is too high.

Anyone have any ideas on how to completely BLACK out all lighting from the rear while riding. There have been so many times I have had some Di*ck riding my *** in the middle of the night. for my bike i would need to break signal and brake light but I want to turn them on-off at my convinence.

Side note, I have been throught the bike wiring quite a bit and am not worried abt working or cutting in. Always use solder, heat wrap, vynal tape, following up w loom or self vulcanizing rubber wrap.. BTW the rubber wrap puts #33 tape to shame.

Thoughts,

Dysfunction-one

That's really odd. Most riders want to increase their visibility with brighter lights. You want to turn them off . . . when you feel the need to be blacked out. So how much moonshine are ya'll runnin?

It can be done. I have my bike like that. I added the HD aux switches on the clutch side and have one that switches off the license plates lights and running lights, and brake lights. The other turns off the head lights. I have the front turn signal lights wired to come on only when signaling.

There are instances when you want to be running blacked out.
