Default 39 mm brake caliper questions

is there a difference between pre-99 39 mm brake calipers spacing? and 2000-2005 39 mm brake calipers spacing?

pre 2000 lowers p/n's:
45921-87 SLIDER ASSEMBLY, left FXD, FXDL, FXDS CONV, FXDX
45922-87 SLIDER ASSEMBLY, right FXDL, FXDS CONV, FXDX

2000 and up lower's p/n's
46022-00 SLIDER ASSEMBLY, right FXDX
46023-00 SLIDER ASSEMBLY, left FXDX

Short answer, yes they’re different 99 and older. 00 and newer same.

Just a quick FYI, I found an adapter kit to place "00+ 39 mm " brakes on 87-99 39 mm legs.

Here is the kit from (demon cycles) available on amazon

I have mine on the way and will let you know how it goes.
