Installed a new decota digital on my 03 super glide. Every thing lights up, looks cool.
until I start it up then the hole interface go's
blank. Anyone come across this before.

A bad connection somewere?
Vibration when engine is running makes the connection to separate and display goes blank?
Either internally or in the cables connected.
Check the +12V and the earth.

 

I've had that same issue with their MVX-2000. First time I complained they sent me a new harness and that didn't fix it.. I ended up sending it in and eventually they sent me a new one.. Cold solder joints on the circuit board rattled lose from the vibration of the bike.. solid engine mount Softail...

 

Finally figured it out.
had to take it back apart. Turns out
I the ground was connected to the wrong wire. Lol... thanks bro's
